We are currently in search of an experienced Computer Science teacher to join our small yet thriving department, which consists of a close-knit team of 2 teachers, including the Head of Department.
Computer Science is taught from year 7 to year 13. The subject is an increasingly popular choice at IGCSE (using the CIE syllabus) and at IBDP level. In summer 2024, our cohort of 29 IGCSE Computer Science students achieved an 93% A*-C pass rate, with 35% of students attaining A*/A grades. In the IBDP program, 58% of our 12 HL students achieved a grade 5 or above.
The Computer Science department is focused on enhancing the curriculum at KS3 and developing an information and resource system for the IBDP.
