As a Solution Architect, you will be working for our client, a global financial institution, contributing to the design and architecture of an advanced digital transformation project. You will be actively engaged in the Ellipse project, ensuring that the architecture aligns with the company’s technology strategy and broader business goals. This role will allow you to collaborate with design and delivery teams, ensuring process discipline and supporting various technology controls, governance frameworks, and compliance initiatives, while promoting agile methodologies and cloud technology adoption.

Your main responsibilities:

• Collaborating with design teams to manage architecture and design activities for the Ellipse project
• Providing design guidance to align the project with broader program objectives and the change portfolio
• Promoting cross-team collaboration and stakeholder buy-in around design decisions
• Enforcing process discipline and advocating for improvements in agile software delivery and Dev Ops pipelines
• Ensuring compliance with standard controls, governance, security, and architecture frameworks
• Guiding teams in aligning technology with business objectives and adding value through innovative solutions
• Supporting the management of scope, resourcing, dependencies, communication, and budget related to design tasks
• Assisting in establishing effective governance and ensuring adherence to delivery frameworks
• Communicating complex design and architectural decisions in business language to key stakeholders
• Maintaining knowledge of IT software solutions, methodologies, and architecture frameworks

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Extensive experience in IT architecture or design within large-scale projects
• Strong knowledge of architecture frameworks and design methodologies
• Proven ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders across multiple teams
• Strong understanding of agile and Dev Ops principles, including pipeline development
• Experience managing project design processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives
• Knowledge of security controls, governance, and compliance within technology architecture
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business terms
• Solid experience in IT software solutions, with a focus on adding business value
• Strong planning and organizational abilities to manage complex design projects
• Demonstrated ability to enforce quality policies and processes

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Awareness of cloud technologies and their implementation in large projects
• ACP (Agile Certified Professional) certification
• Understanding of data transformation and full-cycle data integrity checks
• Prior experience in large financial institutions or similar organizations
