We are currently working with a US-based company on a cloud-based platform responsible for the management of industrial IOT devices, ingesting, storing and processing their monitoring measurements. The platform allows the management and monitoring of millions of devices installed in locations all over the world.


As a QA Engineer, you will ensure that products and applications work as expected. You will be a trusted advisor within the experienced technical team, ensuring the development process is aligned with the best engineering practices.

Your daily responsibilities

• Define and maintain an end-to-end test suite for distributed platforms as part of the scrum team.
  
• Automate test scenarios for backend and frontend services.
  
• Design and review acceptance criteria for new features (“3 amigos” refinement meetings).
  
• Execute full suite of tests on release candidates as well as smoke tests after critical deployments.
  
• Participate in product documentation review and suggest improvements to increase their quality.
  
• Collaborate closely with software engineers and product owners located in different countries in the world to meet quality standards and align with delivery priorities.
  
• Evangelize the team about SQA process to continuously improve the development and delivery process.
  
• Keep an eye on quality measures as defined in Definition of Done.
  
• Taking an active part in team scrum meetings (daily stand-ups, refinements, sprint planning, sprint reviews, demos, retrospectives, ...).
  

We need you to have

• Experience in backend services testing (REST)
  
• Experience in test automation practices and tools
  
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, technical and troubleshooting skills
  
• Good understanding of continuous integration and CI/CD pipelines
  
• Experience in reviewing product requirements and design, creating test plans, test cases and test reports
  
• Ability to become an expert in product functionalities design and work
  
• English knowledge at min B2 level.
  

Would be great if you have

• Experience in testing frontend applications (Angular)
  
• Experience working with microservice architecture (event-driven, eventually consistent)
