Are you looking to take your career to the next level?
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Legal Counsel to join our regional Legal team. You will have the opportunity to own your own projects and work in partnership with different teams and other functions across Central Europe, while deepening your expertise in areas such as competition, commercial and consumer protection laws, as well as contract management, litigation, and compliance. Our counsels work to creatively solve problems and determine how best to handle the legal needs across critically important, as well as challenging and rapidly evolving legal spaces. The position requires strong cross-team collaboration and coordination with business clients, partners across many functions and legal colleagues.
In the Central Europe Legal Team you will:
- Take over responsibility for your own work projects immediately during an intensive „Training-on-the-Job“.
- Collaborate and be a trusted legal advisor to business and stewardship functions, such as Marketing, Sales, Finance or Regulatory.
- Play a vital part in business projects from the very beginning and not only once a problem occurs.
- Deepen your knowledge in numerous legal areas throughout your career such as competition, commercial and consumer protection laws, as well as contract management, litigation, and compliance implementation.
- Work with experts of recognized law firms, share your knowledge and be a mentor to others.
- Render pragmatic legal advice and analyze and resolve legal matters that arise in the day-to-day operations in diverse areas of law such as contractual arrangements; despite management, commercial practices; advertising clearance; corporate law; competition law; labor/ employment issues; digital law, intellectual property rights and etc.
- Identify legal issues, assessing and calculating risk as per different business scenarios and offering legal solutions to multifunctional teams with strong communication and collaboration skills.
Job Qualifications
What we're looking for:
- Attorney-at-law qualified by Polish BAR association (adwokat/radca prawny).
- Proven experience in a law firm or legal department supporting consumer goods producers and/or retailer business clients.
- A background and curiosity about commercial law, consumer protection law, litigation. Experience in trade and antitrust compliance matters is an advantage.
- Ability to apply knowledge very practically, analyze risks and issues and propose suitable solutions to improve business processes.
- Excellent drafting and communication skills and strong ability to work collaboratively with multiple functions in a multinational environment.
- Proficiency in both English and Polish languages (written and spoken). Any other Central European language can be an advantage.
- Open-minded and curious personality with desire to learn and provide solutions, think strategically.
