Key responsibilities:
Laboratory Operations:
Perform and manage test activities, including planning test start and end dates, tracking progress, updating statuses, documenting results, and creating detailed test protocols and reports.
Conduct various tests on medical device prototypes, following established protocols, and document outcomes.
Design and build new test equipment (mechanical/electronic), depending on your skills and engagement level.
Follow health, safety, and environmental guidelines for the laboratory to ensure a safe working environment.
Equipment Maintenance & Calibration:
Perform regular calibration and preventive maintenance of laboratory equipment
Oversee the performance and upkeep of custom testers, addressing any issues promptly and keeping them in optimal working condition.
5S and Lab Organization:
Ensure the lab operates efficiently by implementing and maintaining 5S methodology
Keep the laboratory tidy, well-organized, and compliant with safety and efficiency standards.
Office and Lab Support:
Assist with general office maintenance, including managing orders for supplies and handling package deliveries.
Support inventory management to ensure sufficient stock of lab materials and consumables.
Documentation & Reporting:
Prepare detailed technical documentation, including test protocols, calibration records, and maintenance logs.
Ensure all documentation complies with the company’s quality management system (QMS)
Skills and Competencies:
Education: Technical School Graduate (Electronics is desired) or degree in Engineering.
Language Skills: Good verbal and written English skills.
Technical skills in both electronics and mechanics, with the ability to operate and maintain lab equipment. Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment.
Ability to follow protocols and produce accurate, reliable results.
Familiarity with 5S principles and willingness to maintain a well-organized and efficient lab environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for creating reports and collaborating with the R&D team.
Proactive approach to problem-solving and troubleshooting.
