Junior Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist with German

The Junior Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist, part of wider TA Sourcing Hubs, is responsible for sourcing and identifying candidates through different sourcing techniques, mainly Linked In, developing proactive recruitment marketing activities, as well as building future talent pools, growing the talent community and maintaining candidate databases. The main focus will be EMEA markets, mainly Poland and the DACH region, based on business priorities.
The EMEA & APAC Sourcing Team comprises multilingual Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialists who support EMEA & APAC TA Recruiters and Hiring Managers. Established in 2020, the team is part of a new in-house Talent Acquisition model.
What will you be doing?
Sources candidates through a variety of channels including direct sourcing (Linked In), internal database (Workday, Beamery), job boards, networking, social media, etc.
Builds future pipelines and grows the talent community by identifying potential candidates and developing proactive recruitment marketing activities.
Works closely with TA Recruiters and Hiring Managers to understand the required abilities, requirements, and experience for assigned roles.
Promotes our Smith+Nephew Culture and Employer Value Proposition (EVP) to attract potential applicants.
Helps to attract a diverse range of candidates and supporting our focus on Diversity & Inclusion.
Learns recruitment strategies, identifies new sourcing channels, and shares standard processes, industry, and market intelligence with the TA team.
Prepares and works on market mapping reports.
What will you need to be successful?
Interest in recruitment and sourcing (no previous experience required).
Willingness to learn knowledge of sourcing systems and tools including Boolean Search, X-ray Search, Linked In Recruiter, ATS, as well as social networks.
Interests in sourcing strategies, candidate screening, and recruitment marketing.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Organized, proactive, and ready to take on new challenges.
Fluent in English and German (min. B2).
