We are looking for an IT Tester with strong knowledge of relevant standards and technologies, ideally with experience in the financial sector. The candidate should have a proactive mindset, be ISTQB certified, and possess excellent communication skills to work with stakeholders across different locations.

We are looking for an IT Tester with strong knowledge of relevant standards and technologies, ideally with experience in the financial sector. The candidate should have a proactive mindset, be ISTQB certified, and possess excellent communication skills to work with stakeholders across different locations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for testing changes that may impact the bank’s system used for transaction monitoring. This includes ensuring that all modifications, integrations, and data feeds into system from other sources systems are functioning as expected and do not compromise the system’s performance or accuracy in monitoring transactions.

The tester will work independently to identify, assess, and test potential effects of modifications on the system and its integrations.

Additionally, they will collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure all changes are understood, properly documented, and rigorously tested to maintain seamless integration and functionality.
REQUIREMENTS:
-
Experience 3+ years of business experience.
-
Graduate from college or university.
Experience in DB2, Oracle, SQL, Cucumber, Maven, JIRA, Java, Mainframe, Test management tool, defect tracking tool.

Experience with different types of testing (e.g., functional, regression, integration, performance).

Knowledge of version control systems (e.g. Git) and continuous integration tool (e.g., Jenkins).

Proficiency in writing and executing automated test scripts using tools like Cucumber, Selenium, Maven, etc.

Analyze requirements, define test scenarios, and capture evidence for sprints/releases.

Track and close defects, and create comprehensive test reports Build and execute basic queries using DB2/SQL and conduct database testing (Oracle).

Excellent verbal and oral English skills.

Experience in Agile environments with a collaborative mindset to achieve common goals.
