For our office in PL-Katowice or Warsaw we are looking for an international Freight Forwarder (1,0 FTE).
Function
You will enforce the Freight Management Business Unit in one of our offices in Poland as a flexible, creative and dynamic International Freight Forwarder chartering loads, all over the world, with special focus on Europe.
You will be initiating new traffics where possible
You will cooperate and communicate daily with other departments in the group about imbalances
You will determine sales prices for loads to be chartered
You will follow up market fluctuations, chartering loads in or out from/to third parties at optimal rates
You provide sales/account management departments with cost prices for loads to be chartered out and ensure reliable FFW relations/partners (charters) and search for/register new relations
You will determine best solutions for transports, instruct drivers, charters and colleagues according to the FFW planning
You follow up chartered out transports, provide feedback and update data in our TMS accordingly
Profile
You are ambitious. You are social, you have a large dose of responsibility, flexibility and can work both independently as in a team
We set many challenges, but we expect a pro-active attitude to create this for yourself
You have completed minimum a Bachelor Degree in the direction of logistics or professional experience for at least 3 years in a similar function
You have a very good knowledge of English in word and writing. Basic knowledge of German, French and/or Italian is a big plus
You have strong geographical knowledge and have knowledge of transport legislation in Europe
You have strong communication skills, logical reasoning, pro-active problem-solving ability and analytical skills
You have a very good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
