Graphic Designer
As a Graphic Designer at Fluke, you are responsible for creating compelling visual design solutions, both digital and traditional for marketing programs that drive customer interaction and product purchase decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for design, be highly organized, and be able to take directives and execute accordingly.
As an essential member of the Brand and Content team, you will partner with a broad team of professionals, including web developers, project managers, and stakeholders, in an agile marketing environment to transform concepts into deliverables.
This individual should possess the ability to present new ideas clearly through design, stay current with design trends and must have the skills to produce a variety of different marketing materials, all while adhering to corporate brand standards that align with our brand identity and enhance the appeal of our products
Reporting directly to the Design Manager and collaborating closely with our creative team, you'll lead the charge in producing captivating designs that elevate our brand presence.
Responsibilities:
- Create design concepts and assets for a variety of projects including print, digital, and social media for marketing initiatives
- Create digital templates, branding collateral and assist with presentations
- Ensures timely completion of assigned projects while maintaining strict standards of accuracy, completeness, and product quality
- Effectively manage workload when handling multiple deliverables and maintain timely communication with the team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure visual consistency and alignment with brand guidelines.
- Manage design projects proactively, communicate project updates to stake holders
- Ensuring all material produced conforms with the brand’s visual guidelines
- Follow our approach to standard work with a continuous improvement mindset
- Interpret written and verbal direction from all stakeholders to revise existing graphic design artwork using best practices.
- Support the management of creative assets, image libraries and branding templates within our DAM platform
- Additional duties as assigned as needed
Qualifications:
- AA or BA in graphic design or design related field.
- 2-4+ years of experience as a graphic designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work
- Basic understanding of design principles, print processes, typography, color theory, and composition.
- A creative problem solver with excellent verbal, written skills to effectively communicate and present complex concepts across different global audiences and provide strong customer service
- Comfortable working independently or part of a larger team projects
- In-depth knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Power Point
- Comfortable working in a Microsoft Office (specifically TEAMS, Outlook, Word)
- Basic understanding of UX/UI sensibilities, mobile and desktop
- Ability to create mockups, prototypes, and wireframes
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, creative environment (agency or inhouse)
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time and meet deadlines.
- Welcomes team collaboration and has a healthy appetite for feedback.
- Naturally inclined to self-motivate, take initiative, and work efficiently.
A plus to have:
- Ecommerce design experience
- Experience with video editing and animation
- Experience with iterative usability testing and optimization
- Digital Illustration and infographics skills
- Experience working in an agile environment
- Basic understanding of the technical foundations upon which web assets are built including basic knowledge/experience (SEO, HTML and Java Script)
