We are looking for skilled GL Accountant to join our amazing team located in Gdansk, Poland.
Key responsibilities:

Ensuring overall quality and timely accounts for selected countries
-
General ledger accounting according to Hempel rules, including identification, calculation and posting of: fixed assets register and depreciation, assets under construction, payroll (based on payroll summary from HR), prepaid costs register, accruals register, provisions, revaluations

Maintaining proper documentation for the above

Coordinating timely month close for the selected accounts, in cooperation with the Finance Controller

Detailed review of correctness of accounts and initiating corrective and preventive actions

Trial balance reviews and reconciliations prior to month close
-
Tax, statistical, bank and employment reporting, if required, or support to external service provider

Correctness of keeping the accounts
-
Cooperation and coordination to collect all necessary accounting documents, their approvals and reconcile balances with other related departments.
Qualifications:

University degree in Accounting, Finance or related area

Minimum 2 year professional experience on similar position

Good command of the English language
-
Second European language is seen as an asset
-
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point, Excel)
