The Role
The purpose is to provide support in various key financial and organizational tasks, contributing to the efficiency and accuracy of the Finance FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) team. The intern will be responsible for:
- Consolidating files to ensure data consistency and prepare for the budget process.
- Creating rollups to facilitate the aggregation of financial information for higher-level analysis.
- Performing variance analysis to compare budgeted figures against actual performance, identifying key discrepancies and trends.
- Chart of Account cleanup to improve financial reporting accuracy by reviewing and updating account structures.
- Share Point files cleanup and migration by transferring legacy FP&A files to a new Share Point environment for improved accessibility and organization.
- Assisting Accounting with Finance FP&A setup, helping to streamline the organization of files and folders to ensure proper categorization and ease of access.
- Handling ad hoc requests for data gathering, supporting team members with timely and accurate information for decision-making processes.
What you’ll need to be successful
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good in Microsoft Excel. SAP knowledge will be an asset.
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills in English
- Quick learner and team player
