As an Enterprise Architect, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution renowned for its commitment to technological innovation and efficiency. In this role, you will shape and oversee the technical architecture that supports complex projects and aligns with the company’s strategic goals. Your focus will be on designing robust solutions that meet business needs while driving operational improvements and cost efficiencies.

Your main responsibilities:

• Designing and guiding the architecture of products and services to meet customer needs
• Managing the backlog of design activities and ensuring cost-effective solutions
• Collaborating with Ops Engineers to resolve operational issues and address design defects
• Converting business requirements into actionable technical specifications and influencing technology direction
• Aligning solutions with platform architecture, group standards, and enterprise architecture
• Creating architecture roadmaps based on business strategies and target operating models
• Delivering comprehensive architecture and solution designs, from logical to physical infrastructure
• Running the Technical Design Authority and ensuring adherence to approved technology standards
• Providing consultancy and leveraging industry trends to drive innovation
• Ensuring compliance with governance processes for both vendor-supplied and in-house solutions

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Extensive experience in enterprise architecture and solution design
• Strong technical background in infrastructure, application design, and systems integration (including APIs)
• Ability to translate business strategies into functional and architectural roadmaps
• Experience with cloud-based solutions and platforms such as AWS, Google GCP, Azure, Mulesoft
• Knowledge of networking, server infrastructure, virtualization, middleware, and databases
• Proficiency in architectural governance and best practices
• Experience with Agile methodologies and project delivery
• Strong analytical and strategic skills with the ability to handle complex business decisions
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a global team and value diversity
• Experience with cloud-based solutions and Paa S/Saa S platforms
• Fluent English

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience with technologies used by strategic partners of the client
• Familiarity with EIM Troux, JIRA, and Confluence
• Experience in other architecture disciplines such as data or business architecture
• Knowledge of the Financial Services industry and security technology
