Dev Ops Software Engineer with CI/CD Experience
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Dev Ops Software Engineer to join our team focused on Continuous Integration (CI). As part of our multicultural CI/Maintenance support team in the telecommunications sector, you will be responsible for the development, automation, and support of CI/CD pipelines, tools integration, and infrastructure scalability. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to innovative IT solutions and services while collaborating closely with teams working on the future of telecommunications.
Responsibilities:
CI Machinery Development and Maintenance
Troubleshooting CI Machinery and ensuring reliability
Jenkins jobs/pipelines creation and configuration
Software development in Python
Creation and configuration of new repositories
Daily support to users via Teams Channels and ticketing systems, ensuring SLAs are met
Dev Ops engineering in a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) framework
Automation of CI/CD flows and services
Data visualization using frameworks like Grafana
Implement and support automation, CI/CD flows, testing, and deployment pipelines
Collaborative work with sister organizations on test channels, tools, and infrastructure
Security tool support for production systems
Deployment and scaling of new and existing infrastructures
Integration of machine learning and AI tools when applicable
Provide weekly progress reports and KPIs
Continuous improvement of CI/CD quality and reliability
Requirements:
Practical experience with Bash and Python scripting
Practical experience working with Linux OS
Expertise in version control systems (e.g., GIT, SVN) and code review tools (e.g., Gerrit)
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Artifactory, Gerrit)
Experience with troubleshooting, debugging, and CI/CD pipeline optimization
Knowledge of containerization and virtualization technologies
Familiarity with Open Shift suite for container orchestration and management
Experience with data visualization tools like Grafana
Experience in automated testing and release management
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external organizations
Strong communication skills in English
Flexible, responsible, and eager to learn
Nice to Have:
Knowledge of Agile methodologies
Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming in Python
Basic understanding of mobile networks (4G/5G)
Familiarity with Jira for issue tracking
Experience with machine learning and AI tools in a Dev Ops context
