RESPONSIBILITIES:
Spearhead the agile transformation initiatives within the operations team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and agile best practices.
Guide and mentor teams in agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, to improve delivery efficiency and team collaboration.
Facilitate agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews to ensure alignment and progress.
Build a strong partnership with the Business heads across the Equities & Securities Financing departments.
Lead and manage multiple large, highly visible, enterprise-level projects consisting of multiple cross functional teams using lean/agile methodology in a fast-paced environment that crosses multiple business divisions and requires coordination within a large and complex dependency network in a changing IT environment.
Play a leadership role to help establish the appropriate people, process, and tools across teams distributed around the globe.
Champion agile and lean principles to reduce lead time of delivering product to markets while creating a culture of continuous improvement.
Manage stakeholders expectations and working relationship with the teams with focus on transparency and collaboration.
REQUIREMENTS:
Be an approachable and supportive team member with a collaborative attitude within a demanding, maturing Agile environment.
Great communication / client management / presentation - convey your thoughts, ideas and opinions clearly and concisely face-to-face or virtually to all levels up and down stream. Skills gained from a consultancy background or from an internal change function from a major bank.
Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to influence senior management (Required).
Ability to listen and reflect back what others communicate to you.
Regularly demonstrate these qualities - drive, motivation, determination, dedication, resiliency, honesty and enthusiasm.
Ability to translate agile status to organization wide reporting that stick to waterfall mind sets.
Engineering background and/or investment banking experience will be a plus
