Client: A large multinational financial services company is headquartered in UK. The institution operates in over 60 countries, providing services such as retail banking, wealth management, commercial banking, and investment banking. With a significant presence in both developed and emerging markets, it ranks among the largest financial entities globally by assets. It is also focused on driving sustainable finance and digital transformation initiatives worldwide.

REQUIREMENTS:

Expertise in SQL (Oracle) development and database management.
Experience in data cleaning, data mapping, and data remediation.
Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices.
Strong analytical skills, particularly in interpreting complex data structures.
Ability to collaborate effectively with Business Analysts and other technical teams.
Familiarity with customer data management and entity code systems is desirable.
Previous experience working on customer 360 or similar projects is a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Creating and managing databases in SQL (Oracle): The specialist must have experience in developing and managing Oracle databases.
Data processing: Responsibility for data cleaning, data mapping and data repair (remediation).
Data quality management: Applying best practices in data management and ensuring their quality (data governance).
Data Analysis: Interpreting complex data structures and drawing conclusions that support business goals.
Collaboration with technical and business teams: Work closely with business analysts and other technical teams to achieve expected results.
Customer Data Management: Knowledge of customer data management systems and unit code systems is desired.
Customer 360 projects: An additional advantage is previous experience in working on Customer 360 or similar projects.

Preferred Experience:

4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer from a banking or financial services environment.
Hands-on experience with Oracle databases and complex SQL queries.
Familiarity with data remediation and data integration processes in large-scale projects.
