Contracts Content Editor – Contracts Content Team Location: Warsaw, Poland Hybrid model: 3 days from office per week
The Contracts Content Team (CCT) is a group of lawyers specialised in contracting, who are responsible for drafting, reviewing, and advising on a wide array of contracting matters that are typical for the life sciences industry. Daily we focus on developing core template materials for business-related contracts. The main aim of the team is to standardise our processes for contract drafting and storage, including supporting AZ’s automation initiatives.
Who are we looking for? Currently we are seeking a Contracts Content Editor – a person who will support the editorial design of the contract’s templates. Main responsibility will be for reviewing and editing templates, to ensure their high quality and compliance with internal company standards. Daily work will also involve introducing minor changes into the templates, configuring texts, and preparing them for further coding into the contract management system used in AZ (called Contracts +). The successful candidate will collaborate with the lawyers and technical support peers to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the templates we offer.
We are looking for an accurate, perceptive, and detail-oriented individual, who is experienced in critical thinking. Excellent knowledge of MS Office (MS Word and MS Excel) is crucial. We are seeking an enthusiastic, driven, and flexible individual who is confident working independently and has experience of providing support at senior level in a fast-paced, complex, global environment.
What will be your tasks:
Reviewing and editing contracts templates prepared by CCT lawyers.
Proofreading and formatting of the contracts content.
Configuring content and preparing it for encoding into the system.
Liaising with the Contract+ specialist to ensure the consistency and completeness of the content published on the system.
Providing testing support as required.
Resolving or escalating identified risks and issues.
Requirements Education, Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline - in particular linguistics, English philology, Polish philology, journalism, etc.
Demonstrated experience in a similar role.
Experience working with legal texts will be an additional advantage.
Experience of working in a global organisation will be an additional advantage.
Skills and Capabilities
Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Word and MS Excel
Very good knowledge of English, spoken and written.
