Role Purpose:
With the support of the Communications Manager, the Communications Coordinator will implement the communications strategy and support communication needs for the upcoming UK/Poland Season 2025. The communications Coordinator will coordinate the delivery of external and internal communications, including media, PR, events, digital and stakeholder communications within the UK/Poland Season 2025 communications strategy. The communications Coordinator will work closely with internal and external key stakeholders, execute plans that strengthen and integrate marketing initiatives to continue to engage current audiences, identify and attract new ones and create greater awareness of the UK/Poland Season 2025.
Main accountabilities
Under the supervision of the Polish Communications Manager and in cooperation with the Season Board, the Communications Coordinator’s main responsibilities will be:

To execute campaign strategies, both traditional and online, to maximise impact and share of voice.

To manage social media communities, engaging with them daily and work together with the digital marketing team on specific initiatives and campaigns aimed at maintaining a vibrant community of people interested in our Season’s programme activities.

Maintain and develop online content for social media channels as well as the Season’s and Polish British Council website.

To contribute to the development of relations with national and local media and coordinate communications and other press-related duties.

To contribute to the internal communication around the Season both locally and with the larger British Council UK office.

To support the management of external communications agency which are engaged to support British Council in the organisation and delivery of the Season’s programme across Poland from Spring until Autumn 2025.

To monitor and report on marketing KPIs for the project as agreed with the Regional Marketing Team.

To provide monthly, quarterly, and final report as contribution to the overall Season’s Programme reports.

To facilitate the successful internal communications around the Season’s activities and impact.

To champion the deployment of the British Council brand architecture and Season’s brand identity, monitoring partner’s and grantees compliance, and managing interventions to address and resolve reasons for non-compliance.
Role-Specific Knowledge and Experience:
Minimum/Essential:

Experience in delivering communications within an organisation.
-
Demonstrable experience in providing advice and guidance on internal and external communications.
-
Demonstrable experience in mitigating internal and external communications risks and issues.
-
Demonstrable experience in leading social media channels, creating content, including creating and editing videos (ex. Instagram reels)
Desirable :
-
Experience in working in cultural sector.
-
Experience working on project accountability, reporting, communication.
-
Experience in coordination of a project run at least by two different organisations.
Language Requirements:
• Very good working knowledge of Polish and English (spoken and written).

Pay Band – Local Pay Band 4
Salary – from 6, 150 to 7, 225 PLN gross (depending on experience and qualifications)
Contract Type – Fixed-term contract for 11 months January 2025 to November 2025
