As a Calibration Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the precision of measurements and the compliance of control and measurement equipment with applicable standards and norms. Your responsibilities will include independently performing calibrations, collaborating with external laboratories, and overseeing metrological services provided by external contractors.

Responsibilities:
Equipment Calibration: Independently conduct the calibration of control and measurement equipment according to the Calibration Department's requirements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards.
Documentation of Results: Carefully document calibration results and measurement data, including recording and archiving information to ensure complete and accurate records.
System Updates: Update relevant information systems following calibration completion to reflect the status of equipment and the results of calibration activities.
Equipment Labeling: Affix appropriate labels to control and measurement equipment after calibration to ensure proper identification and status of the equipment.
Deficiency Reporting: Issue deficiency and loss reports in either paper or electronic format, documenting any calibration issues or equipment loss.
Collaboration with Laboratories: Liaise and collaborate with external measurement laboratories, coordinating external calibration services and ensuring timely service delivery.
Documentation Analysis: Analyze certificates and other documentation related to calibration to ensure compliance with standards and confirm equipment accuracy.
Oversight of Metrological Services: Supervise external entities performing metrological services on company premises, ensuring compliance with company requirements and effective service delivery.
Requirements:
Secondary technical education or higher in a field related to measurements or metrology.
Experience in calibration of control and measurement equipment is an advantage.
Proficiency in operating measurement equipment and knowledge of calibration procedures.
Familiarity with information tools and data management systems.
Strong analytical skills and accuracy in documenting results.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Intermediate knowledge of English is an advantage.
