As an Accounting Specialist you will be working with a young, dynamic team that is ready to follow Polish regulations and to prepare reporting, according to international standards IFRS. You will be reporting directly to the Chief Accountant where you will oversee and advise a growing team of accountants. Your tasks will include:
Record-keeping to ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies
Organization and maintenance of VAT records and prompt completion of tax-related paperwork, including JPK and tax returns (CIT, VAT)
Examination of general ledger transactions, and reconciliation, as well as posting of accruals and reserves
Active involvement in the monthly financial closing procedures
Preparation and submission of Intrastat and reports to the Central Statistical Office and the National Bank of Poland
Contribution to creating company financial statements for monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting
Preparation of internal reports as needed by the Company
Collaboration with tax entities and external institutions
Participation in the formulation of internal policies, streamlining of accounting and tax processes, and implementation of enhancements
To be a good fit for the Accounting Specialist role, you will have:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a senior role, with a focus on manufacturing being advantageous
Degree in accounting or in a related specialization
Proficient in written and spoken English for effective communication
Thorough understanding of accounting principles and current tax regulations
Experience with financial and accounting software
Proficiency in MS Excel and other Office applications
