The Role

If you apply successfully for this job, you will have responsibility for revenues and margin in the Food and Bake enzyme business in the region of Chile, Peru, Ecuador and Colombia. As part of your role you will function as the regional interface between AB Enzymes and existing and prospective Food and Bake customers in that region.
You will be responsible for:

• Technical sales of enzymes for food and bake applications with a focus on revenue growth
• Account planning and sales analysis, managing the buying cycle
• Achieving sales objectives and KPI’s with the regional account(s)
• Build sustainable long term relationships based upon multi-level contacts such as senior management, purchasing, operations, quality control, R&D and applications
• Building a clear understanding of responsibilities and communication lines inside the client organisation
• Contract negotiations and deal executions
• Identifying, creating, quantifying and prioritizing sales opportunities
• Supporting Global Key Account teams by managing the daily relationship in the region
• Attending regional trade shows and industry conferences

About You

• Experience with Food/Bake enzymes is a clear asset. Further, you bring in depth knowledge and experience from the food and bake ingredient industry
• You possess an academic degree for example in Food Science, Chemistry or Biotechnology or equivalent experience
• A profound interest in identifying, understanding and meeting customer needs
• Customer focused and communicative personal style - preferably from your experience in a commercial role in the food ingredients industry
• Resolving customer complaints.
• Fluency in written and oral Spanish and English (Portuguese would be a benefit)
• An excellent Team player and co-worker
• Willingness and capability to travel ~50% throughout the region
