Technical Project Manager/Gerente de Proyecto Técnico

Impetus Technologies is seeking a Technical Project Manager to join our dynamic and growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management with at least 5 years of experience in the Big Data and Cloud domains. The role involves managing complex technical projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time, within scope, and budget.
As a Technical Project Manager, you will lead technology migration projects, facilitate knowledge transfer, and work directly with clients to ensure project goals are met. The role also requires occasional travel to client locations in the LATAM region.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, particularly in the Big Data & Cloud domain.
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish.
  • Proven experience in leading technology/data migration projects.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS Services.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multiple projects for various clients simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and processes.
  • AWS certifications are a plus.
  • PMP or other relevant project management certifications are a plus.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and client-handling skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel to client locations in the LATAM region.
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects from inception to completion.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and resources effectively.
  • Oversee and ensure projects adhere to quality standards and meet the defined scope, timeline, and budget.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular status updates to stakeholders and executives.
  • Manage complex Big Data and Cloud projects, including technology and data migration efforts.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing client communications and handling concerns efficiently.
  • Lead knowledge transfer sessions for the Latin American technical team while coordinating with the English-speaking delivery team.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align project deliverables with business objectives.
  • Travel to client locations in the LATAM region as required to facilitate project success.
