Job Overview:
As a Website Development Instructor, you will teach students the skills needed to design, develop, and maintain websites. You'll be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, creating course materials, and keeping up with the latest web development trends to ensure our curriculum is both relevant and effective.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach Classes: Conduct engaging lessons on website development, covering topics such as HTML, CSS, Java Script, and web frameworks. Lead hands-on projects and coding exercises to help students apply their knowledge.
Develop Curriculum: Create and update course content, including lesson plans, assignments, and assessments. Ensure that the curriculum reflects current best practices and emerging technologies in web development.
Support Students: Provide mentorship and support to students, answering questions, giving feedback on projects, and helping with troubleshooting.
Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in website development. Incorporate relevant examples and case studies into your lessons.
Improve Courses: Use student feedback and performance data to enhance course materials and teaching methods. Explore innovative approaches to make learning more effective and engaging.
Qualifications:
Experience: Hands-on experience in website development, including proficiency with HTML, CSS, Java Script, and modern web frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js).
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field. Additional certifications or advanced degrees are a plus.
Teaching Skills: Previous experience in teaching or training is preferred. Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and engagingly.
Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in web development, with a portfolio or examples of previous projects.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information in an accessible and understandable manner.
Passion for Teaching: Enthusiasm for teaching and helping students succeed, with a commitment to make a positive and motivating learning environment.
