As a Call Center Agent for Taxi Cab Controlling & Dispatching, you will be responsible for handling incoming calls, dispatching taxis, managing customer requests, and ensuring efficient communication between drivers and customers. The ideal candidate will be quick-thinking, detail-oriented, and able to handle high-pressure situations while maintaining professionalism. Key Responsibilities:
Receive and manage incoming customer calls for taxi bookings and inquiries.
Dispatch taxis in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring drivers reach customers promptly.
Monitor and track taxi locations to optimize dispatching decisions.
Communicate clearly with drivers, providing them with accurate trip details and instructions.
Respond to customer questions, complaints, and concerns with professionalism and a focus on providing excellent service.
Ensure accurate logging and record-keeping of all dispatch activities.
Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
Perform additional administrative duties as needed.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a call center, customer service, or dispatching role is preferred.
Familiarity with taxi dispatching systems or GPS tracking software is a plus.
Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to multitask.
Ability to work under pressure and handle high call volumes.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
