In Norway, our presence is established at Lysaker in Oslo, where our dedicated roadside assistance team of approx. 80 employees tirelessly works in our “Vaktsentral” and back offices, to help people in distress. The Role: The P&C Manager reports directly to the Head of Nordic P&C Partnering, who is currently based in Copenhagen, and is part of the Nordic P&C leadership team. The role also has a dotted line to the Country Director of SOS International Norway and is a part of the local Norwegian management team. The P&C Manager will lead the P&C function in the Norwegian business and support managers and employees in all HR-related issues. The role will ensure that he/she is a key supporter in achieving the organization’s goals by providing operational and administrative HR support. At the same time, the P&C Manager will be closely linked to the Nordic People function and assist with the implementation and execution of Strategic projects and alignment from group level in local organization. This requires a structured and very operational and administrative mindset. Key tasks & responsibilities:
Support managers in P&C related questions and issues in a very “hands on” role
Provide advice and guidance on local labor law and other legal issues related to the employee life cycle and work environment
Take ownership of P&C related processes such as recruitment, on -and off boarding, employee surveys, sick leave, retention, etc.
Assist in payroll processes and regulations, and participate in negotiations with union employee representatives
Ensure that administrative procedures and policies related to employee relations are safeguarded and developed, and that P&C in Norway works in line with other Nordic countries when it comes to processes and routines
Drive strategic initiatives in relation to a unified culture such as; corporate values, leadership development, and collaborating with relevant stakeholders
Participate in the AMU (Working Environment Committee)
The position has personnel responsibility for one person - People Consultant (80% position)
Education and work experience/competences:
Preferable you have a degree in HR or business administration.
A minimum of 4-5 years’ experience in an HR role; i.e. Senior HRBP or equivalent.
Familiarity with Norwegian labor laws, regulations, and HR practices, and experience in working with collective agreements
A structured approach to the P&C administration tasks
A dedication to providing outstanding service and excellent communication skills.
A “hands-on” approach to problem-solving.
Very good MS-Office skills
Proficiency in both Norwegian and English, spoken and written
