Orewa Beach Veterinary Clinic has a new opportunity for a Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly close-knit team on part-time basis.
We have two options for this role! Either:
17.5 hours per week (with option to pick up extra shifts covering leave)
Monday 2pm-6pm
Wednesday 2pm-6pm
Friday 8am-5pm
1 in 4 Saturdays 8:30am-12:30pm
Or:
9.5 hours per week (with option to pick up extra shifts covering leave)
Friday 8am-5pm
1 in 4 Saturdays 8:30am-12:30pm

About you:
Qualified Veterinary Nurse
A willingness to roll up your sleeves and get involved at all levels, with energy and drive
A keen desire to deliver excellent standards of patient care and customer service

The Practice:
Modern, spacious, custom-designed premises with a comfy staff room
Sterile surgery suite for soft-tissue and orthopaedic surgeries
Extensive in-house laboratory (blood tests, urinalysis and bacterial culture)
Diagnostic X-ray and ultrasound facilities
Separate (heated) hospital rooms for dogs and cats
Separate isolation ward for patients with infectious diseases
Blood pressure testing using a Doppler flow detector
Dentistry unit
