ROLE SUMMARY:

ACG Parnell is a leading co-educational, non-denominational, independent school based in Parnell, Auckland, providing world class education to students from year 0-13. Our preschool Centre is tailored to provide an excellent learning environment for children ages 3 months to 5 years old.

An opportunity has arisen for an outstanding teacher to join our preschool. We require a qualified and registered (Dip ECE or NZQA-approved equivalent) preschool teacher who is experienced in the development and delivery of quality early childhood education. The successful applicant will have a natural affinity with children and the ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, colleagues and the wider community.

We have a team of fully qualified and registered teachers who provide high-quality care and learning experiences for our children. We offer exceptional teaching and traditional values. We are committed to providing individualised care to each of out students and this is what sets us apart. This position is due to commence in January 2025.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Teach early childhood learning, ensuring you create an engaging learning environment.
Cater to the varied learning needs and abilities of the children.
Develop excellent relationships with children, colleagues, and parents.
Play based learning environment with a focus on transition to school.
Participate in wider school activities.
Ensure children's welfare and safety in every moment.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

NZ Teacher registration with supporting teaching qualifications (BA and/or MBA).
Well-prepared, inspiring confidence in children and parents.
Flexible, committed, professional, hard working, team player.
