Research Financial Administrator
Nau mai, haere mai ki Te Whatu Ora – Capital, Coast & Hutt Valley District Location: Wellington Regional Hospital Service: Wellington Blood and Cancer Clinical Trials Unit Contract: 1 year fixed-term, part-time (16 hours a week) Salary: $21,000-$24,0000 Kōrero mō te tūranga – About the role We have an exciting opportunity for someone experienced in financial administration and passionate about healthcare. We are seeking a Financial Administrator to support our Clinical Trials team on a part-time basis. This is a flexible role working 16 hours per week, with working hours between 08:00 and 16:30, Monday to Friday. In this position, you'll play a vital role in managing clinical trial budgets and invoice processes, ensuring that financial operations run smoothly and efficiently. Mō tō mātou rōpū – About our team You’ll be working in a multi-disciplinary environment, working with professionals across a wide range of services in the medical, pharmaceutical and laboratory areas, including Trial Sponsors and their representatives. You’ll receive training to manage the clinical trial finances, and there’s scope for learning new skills and gaining qualifications. Previous experience in a Financial Administrative role.
Proficient in account management and financial spreadsheets.
Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, Power Point, and web-based communication.
Strong problem-solving abilities with technology.
Knowledge of the healthcare or clinical trials environment is a plus.
