Mō te tūranga | About the role Our mechanical team is made up of fitters and plumbers, the people who keep the hospital running. Keeping it warm, safe, and compliant.
You’ll be responsible for carrying out various aspects of plumbing work, including maintaining critical life-saving equipment, as well as supporting energy reduction projects as we move towards a carbon zero future. If you're a Registered Plumber interested in becoming a Certifying Plumber, we'll support you on that journey.
Mōu ake | About you Our ideal candidate will have:
Experience as a Registered Plumber
Practicing License with NZ Plumbers, Gasfitters, and Drainlayers Board
Previous experience in a healthcare environment would be a big help
Most importantly, a positive can-do attitude

Utu whānui |Salary range This role belongs to the National E tu Maintenance Trade & Related Services Collective Agreement (17 April 2023 - 16 April 2025) and falls between Step 3 ($73,330 p.a) and Step 7 ($84,100 p.a.). This role also belongs to the AWUNZ Collective Agreement for Maintenance Trades roles and falls between the Step 1 ($68,804 p.a) and Step 5 ($81,360 p.a).
