We are seeking an experienced Registered nurse to join our ward M7 our Burns, Plastics and Urology ward.
As a successful applicant, you will play a key role in caring for both simple and complex patients for all services that includes Burns, plastics and Urology.
Day to day you will be caring for Pre-and post-operative patients with complex burns, plastics and Urology surgery. HDU AND ICU step down patients, our environment is high turnover and fast paced. We have a good team on M7 and work well together.
You will have the opportunity to work within the plastic surgery, urology and burns unit providing specialist care in Burns, Plastics and Urology pre and post operatively. This includes step down HDU/ICU and Burns. The successful applicant will be flexible, with good prioritisation and time management skills.

- Attend to patient needs with compassion and diligence
- Challenging fast paced work environment
- Ensure smooth patient flow
- Current APC
- Excellent assessment skills, Proactive with time management

- Knowledge and understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
- Demonstrate the ability to manage a case load of patients with complex health needs
- Be hardworking and a team player
- Be available to work a variety of hours Monday to Saturday
- Be eligible to live and work in New Zealand with a current annual practising certificate
