LEGAL ADVISOR
Malaksi Consulting is looking for a detail-oriented Legal Advisor to provide expert legal counsel on HR-related matters. The Legal Advisor will work closely with clients to ensure their HR policies, contracts, and practices comply with labor laws and mitigate legal risks. You will also provide advice on resolving employee disputes, drafting employment contracts, and staying updated on legislative changes. The role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about employment law.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on HR-related legal matters, including employment contracts, labor laws, and compliance issues.
- Draft, review, and update legal documents such as employment agreements and policies.
- Represent clients in employment-related legal disputes and mediations when necessary.
- Provide legal insights and guidance during HR investigations and employee grievance processes.
- Stay updated on changes in labor laws and advise clients accordingly to ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with HR and management teams to implement legally sound HR strategies.
Qualifications:
- Law degree and current legal practicing certificate.
- 3+ years of experience in employment law.
- Strong knowledge of local labor laws and HR legal practices.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and cases simultaneously.
- Experience working in a consulting environment is a plus.
