As a Skilled Meat Process Worker you will have had two years’ experience in knife handling or have successfully completed New Zealand Certificate in Meat Processing and Meat Product Manufacturing (Level 4) with strands in Slaughter Floor Operations and Dressing Operations) or a recognised equivalent
Applicants will be considered for any production vacancy in any department with opportunities to upskill and earn more. Specific department and schedules will be discussed during the interview process to find the right position based upon your interests and skills
As a member of our team, you will be responsible for a lot of duties including:
  • Safely using sharp knives, and other equipment
  • Standing for up to 8 hours.
  • Lift or move boxes at a minimum weight of 20kg
  • Wearing Personal Protective Equipment (hard hat, safety glasses, steel toe boots, mesh safety equipment) as provided by the Employer
