Drive vehicle combinations to destinations in accordance with regulations and company procedures
Load and unload truck and trailer either individually or with assistance, with or without mechanical freight handling equipment
Perform frequent lifting, pulling, pushing and carrying of freight
Inspect truck for defects and safe operating condition before, during and after trips
Submit pre-trip Inspections and if required Vehicle Defect reports on truck and trailing equipment before commencing shift
Ensure that all load documentation required to move with freight is available for inspection and that appropriate paperwork accompanies freight when delivered
Maintain logbook as per NZ rules and regulations.
All the drivers MUST inform customer service when they are running late to delivery/pick-up destination.
Drivers MUST pick-up/unload any empties on runs.

Have a minimum of One year of class 5 units driving experience and reversing or relevant. Our company will also provide training around hard body units.
