Our stunning store, in the heart of the magical Mangawhai community, has been operating since October 2022.
With grocery, butchery, seafood, deli, bakery, produce, liquor, chilled and frozen, online and checkout departments in a beautiful new store, we are bringing a new era of shopping to our wonderful customers.

Checkout Supervisor
Role:
- Customer focused providing an excellent level of customer service, ensuring a great customer experience
- Ensure high presentation standards for the Checkouts & store
- Effectively lead and guide a team of checkout operators
- Build positive, strong relationships within the department, wider team and leadership to get the very best results
- Train new operators and supervisors as needed
- Assist and resolve customer enquiries and concerns
- Follow H&S, Food Safety and store procedures
- Must work a weekend shift and evening shifts till close at 9pm
- Vacancy Hours - Wednesday 7am-4pm, Thursday, Friday and Saturday 12pm-9pm = 34 hours per week

What are we looking for:
- Customer service experience
- Leadership experience

Supermarket / retail experience advantageous but not essential
- Strong work ethic, reliable, honest and be a good team player
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Confidence & maturity to work unassisted
- Ability to plan, observe, act and think one step ahead to meet the needs of our customers and our team
