Our Client CRUST & CRUMB BAKERS LIMITED (Rotorua) is looking for Bakers
We are committed to delighting our customers with delicious, freshly baked bakery products. From our classic loaves to our artisan sourdoughs, our bread is baked fresh every day using traditional recipes and real ingredients.
Minimum 30 hours Maximum 40 hours per week guaranteed.

Your main responsibilities include:
- Making and baking of daily products to meet our customer demand
- Performing all the daily production tasks in the most efficient possible means that include: kneading, maturing, cutting, moulding, mixing and shaping dough, to check the quality of raw materials and weighing ingredients, glazing and decorating, to operate machines which roll and mould dough, emptying, cleaning and greasing baking trays, tins and other cooking equipment.
- To assist with all other duties that form part of the bakery operation including: monitoring oven temperatures and product appearance to determine baking times, coordinating the forming, loading, baking, unloading, de[1]panning and cooling of batches of bread, rolls, and Savory products.
- Checking the cleanliness of equipment and operation of premises before production runs to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations To be successful in your application, you must be able to demonstrate:
Job Requirements
- Relevant Baking Qualification OR relevant 9+ months of work experience.
- Have a passion for baking and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- You must be, someone who is committed, reliable, and Multi-task capable.
- Enthusiastic, positive and can-do attitude.
- You must be mature and responsible when it comes to dealing with tough situations.
- Ability to start early and to work varied days and times which includes weekends & Public holidays.
- Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
Pay range: Between $25-$30 per hour
