About Netra Agro
Netra Agro (NA) is a 100% subsidiary of SVZ and belongs to the German Döhler Group, a leading developer, producer and marketer of technology-driven natural ingredients and ingredient systems. NA’s core business is the (customized) sourcing and marketing of a wide range of premium mainly frozen fruits from all over the world. NA also relieves the customer of all import tasks (documents, logistics etc.) and quality assurance (on-site audits, certification etc.).
Customers are mostly high-end food producers who place high demands on quality, availability and service.
The NA team operates from Breda and consists of 10-15 FTE: Back Office/Logistics, QA/QC, Finance and Sales.

Especially after the acquisition by Döhler, NA’s ambitions are challenging and focused on significant growth through the development of new markets and product/market combinations. Therefore, we currently have the following open position
Your tasks and responsibilities include
As Sourcing Manager you manage the supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and analyze market trends to optimize purchasing strategies. Your role involves balancing competitiveness with maintaining supplier reliability and compliance with company standards. You work closely together with the back office, sales and quality department of Netra Agro and representatives of SVZ and Dohler. You report to the General Manager of Netra Agro.
In this role you are responsible for

You work closely together with the back office, sales and quality department of Netra Agro and representatives of SVZ and Dohler. You report to the General Manager of Netra Agro.
In this role you are responsible for
- Develop and implement the international sourcing strategy for IQF tropical and red fruit, securing the best connection between supply and sales from a traders mind set.
- Definition and implementation of sourcing plans in close cooperation with the Sales Managers, Quality Managers and the wider Dohler / SVZ sourcing community
- Observation and analysis of international supply markets
- Evaluate and communicate market-specific data
- Select, assess and develop suppliers
- Identify supplier for potential partnerships and built relations accordingly
- Negotiation of conditions and conclusion of framework agreements
- Bring IQF sourcing to the next level securing availability and quality at the right cost and built a relevant product portfolio as such
- Leading 1; sourcing coordinator
What do you bring with you?
- Bachelor in business studies, food sciences or comparable training with additional qualification.
- At least 5 years of work experience in international purchasing in the food industry preferably with Fruit / IQF experience
- Show distinct analytic thinking, negotiation skills, purposefulness, assertiveness, ability to work under pressure, ability to work in a team and ability to be highly proactive
- International orientation and ability to travel frequently
- Highly developed English skills, preferably good working knowledge of Spanish and Dutch and / or one other major language
- Very good computer operational skills
