The Company: We are the European Branch office of Cartama, the largest avocado grower and exporter in Colombia accounting for 22% of the countries exported volume, growing at 30%+ rate the last 3 year. We are the only B-Corp avocado grower in the world. Established in The Netherlands in 2020. Key accountabilities and decision ownership: Sales Support and Logistics:
Determine and monitor supply chain KPIs.
Identify and address process bottleneck to optimize flow and efficiency.
Monitor and coordinate the arrival of containers together with our service providers.
Monitor and coordinate the delivery of orders to final customers, arranging road transport when needed.
Analyse Logistic costs and invoices to identify opportunities for costs saving.
Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
Stock Management and Sales coordination:
Sales and administrative support.
Manage stock levels on-site and in transit.
Verify volumes are sufficient to meet orders and coordinate ripening with packing house at origin.
Quality Control and Compliance:
Ensure food safety and compliance with market requirements.
Report to suppliers the quality received at the unloading of the fruit and allocate to the right customers.
Position requirements
Previous working experience in logistics or sales coordination.
Organized and responsible person.
Knowledge of the fruit industry or other oversees importing business is a great plus.
English at a fluent level is critical. Dutch and/or Spanish are an important plus. Other languages are also valued.
