Your essential functions will be to perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Receive groups, catering and events and keep up to date the hotel event output.
- To organize, plan and prioritize the duties by developing plans and goals.
- Clean and upkeep the information in the catering system constantly.
- Draw up contracts for catering and events and negotiate budgets with customers.
- Make sure rooming lists are in the system, update payment instructions and enter important information relevant to the function.
- Develop Banquet Event Orders in the system with all pertaining information.
- Assist with clients and deliver on the client's expectations.
- Demonstrate knowledge of job systems, products, booking systems, and processes.
- Make decisions and solve problems by analyzing and evaluating the issues and determine the best solution for the client.
- Ensure high quality service by communicating and assisting others to understand the guest needs.
- Participate in customer site inspections and assist with the sales process as necessary.
- Perform monthly catering reports and update closing information, follow up with F&B on banquet checks.
- Creating and communication of documents including but not limited to BEO's, group resumes, post event reports, menus, diagrams/floor plans.
