Let’s introduce ourselves
Christiani Vino e Cibo is a restaurant & wine bar in Aalsmeer. We serve various Italian dishes, including pastas, Roman pizzas (with the best organic flour!) and different types of desserts. Besides, our guests can choose and enjoy over 30 different wines at our wine bar on the top floor, accompanied with a delicious antipasti.
Job requirements

• Minimum of 1 years of relevant experience working in a kitchen
• An affinity with the Italian kitchen
• Experience with preparing pizza
• Product knowledge: e.g. cutting techniques, preparing pizza sauces
• Command of the Dutch and/or English language. Italian is an advantage

Tasks and responsibilities

• Independently run part of the kitch and help with the activities of the chef, when needed.
• Taking responsibility for the kitchen on the days that the chef is not working.
• Independently prepare pizza dough (and other products)
• Daily control of products on freshness and quality
• Responsible for purchasing and ensuring product availability, and ordering products as necessary.
• Ensuring the correct application of the recipes
• Contributing to the design and composition of pizzas on the menu
• Follow guidelines concerning safety, hygiene and HACCP

Passionate about everything related to food and drink, and you have an affinity with Italian cuisine. Furthermore, you are quick, accurate in the kitchen and have a fine eye for detail. You are not afraid of a busy evening in the restaurant, because you can keep a good overview and are able to work under pressure. You are customer-friendly, attach great value to top quality and are not easily satisfied with less. You enjoy learning more and more about the profession and the hospitality industry: not only about the products, but also about (the latest) hygiene standards. Besides, you are flexible with regard to your work schedule and you don’t mind if you have to help out unexpectedly when needed.
