(Junior) Account manager | German Market
You know how important this position is and will of course totally knock this job out of the park! And you know better than anyone how to sell ‘The Better Beef’ of GOEDEGEBUUR Vlees Rotterdam B.V. to new customers (which you will bring in) and to existing customers.
You also understand that we are an International organization and that you therefore need to speak and understand different languages. Preferably; English and German, because if you have to serve the German market ; thenn ist es praktisch, Deutsch zu sprechen! Dutch and Spanish is also nice, ole - but is not mandatory.
We are looking for a (Junior) Account Manager to strengthen/complement our current top sales team. By developing yourself further within the team, you can grow into an International Account Manager.

What you will do

• You will first spend some time in production, so that you can expand your product knowledge and gain insight into our products and production processes;
• You will be thoroughly briefed by a colleague during all activities, so that you can gain insight into our processes and procedures, after which you can carry out your tasks completely independently;
• You will start each morning with a sales team kick-off, during which various important issues will be discussed;
• Besides Acquisition, you will manage the existing portfolio, realise turnover growth at existing relations and new customers and have a supporting role towards the Sales Management;
• Your sales and acquisition activities are mainly carried out by telephone from our office in Rotterdam and in the future you will visit customers once every three months (or more if necessary);
• You will receive (new) customers at our location and visit trade fairs at home and abroad, including Germany and Paris;
• You will be responsible for the entire process, from order to ensuring correct delivery to the customer;
• As a junior account manager, you will be part of a team of 7 colleagues and report to the Sales Director.

What we ask

• You have a relevant MBO or HBO degree. Or you are a graduating student of a relevant HBO education;
• You are available full-time (40 hours per week) from Monday to Friday and during trade fairs;
• You find it no problem to travel to Rotterdam every day for work and to carry out work at our location;
• You can make yourself understood in German and serve our customers in German;
• Working at an internationally oriented production company in the food industry is something you like;
• You are ambitious, commercial and result-oriented, follow trends in the market and with customers;
• You have a positive attitude and charisma;
• You go the extra mile for our customers and show initiative.
