Summary:
Reporting to the Group CFO, the main responsibility of this role of this position is to provide independent assurance to the Audit Committee (AC) and the Board of Directors, verifying that the controls throughout the Group’s operations are adequate.

Summary:
Reporting to the Group CFO, the main responsibility of this role of this position is to provide independent assurance to the Audit Committee (AC) and the Board of Directors, verifying that the controls throughout the Group’s operations are adequate.
Tasks:
- Strengthen the internal audit framework and develop an audit plan.
- Review, assess and develop the performance and effectiveness of current internal controls and identify risk areas and control weaknesses.
- Assess the level of compliance with established policies, procedures, directions, and relevant regulation and legislation.
- Assess the accuracy, reliability and timeliness of management information produced within Envipco.
- Present audit findings to relevant stakeholders, highlighting areas of improvement to enhance internal controls and risk management practices.
- Implement control mechanisms to ensure that internal governance, risk & compliance is always embedded while the organization implements new processes and procedures.
- Track and monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and management action plans to address identified risks and weaknesses and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Increase organizational awareness about good internal governance, risk & compliance and running training courses.
Profile:
- Education at Bachelor (HBO) or University level in a suitable discipline.
- 7+ years of experience in internal auditing, risk management, or related fields, with a focus on global operations.
- Experienced in conducting risk assessments, audit planning, executing audit, procedures, and documenting findings in a global environment.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to identify root causes of issues and develop practical solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision and effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English and Dutch.
- Experience with ISO 27001 and SOC1 & 2 is desirable;
