What we’re looking for
Are you passionate about people and eager to jumpstart your HR career? We’re on the lookout for a dynamic and detail-oriented HR Intern to join our team! In this role, you’ll play a key role in our HR operations, handling everything from payroll updates to ensuring a compliant start for our new joiners and keeping our HR systems running smoothly. Key Responsibilities

HR Process Support:
  • Coordinate and process payroll changes, including new hires, information adjustments, and benefit enrolments.
  • Liaise with the external payroll team and internal team to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
Contract Management:
  • Draft, review, and finalize employment contracts and other HR-related documents.
  • Ensure all contracts are compliant with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Maintain an organized filing system for all contracts and related documents.
HR Information System (HRIS) Management:
  • Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Generate reports from the HRIS as required by the HR team and other departments.
  • Assist in the implementation and training of HRIS modules as needed.
General HR Administration:
  • Assist with the onboarding process for new employees, including conducting orientation sessions and ensuring completion of required documentation.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
  • Support the HR team in various projects and initiatives, such as performance management, learning and development, and employee engagement.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Psychology, Communications, Business, HR or any related field, looking for their first experience in HR (at least 6 months of practical internship experience).
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English. If you speak Dutch, that is a nice to have and we love people who bring other languages!
  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Confidence in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), familiarity with HR software is a plus.


What to expect:
This is a full-time role for 6 months based in our Amsterdam HQ (Houthavens). You will be reporting directly to the HR Manager and will be interacting closely with the Amsterdam office.
