Job Summary
The Finance Supervisor at UPS Healthcare Transportation Netherlands is responsible for day-to-day F&A activities on statutory and managerial accounting. This role involves managing a team of finance specialists, analyze financial data, ensuring the accuracy of the transactions and relevance of insights used by senior leaders. The Finance Supervisor oversees and effectively communicate findings, trends, and recommendations, while fostering collaboration with various stakeholders within the UPS network.

Job Description:
Job Summary
The Finance Supervisor at UPS Healthcare Transportation Netherlands is responsible for day-to-day F&A activities on statutory and managerial accounting. This role involves managing a team of finance specialists, analyze financial data, ensuring the accuracy of the transactions and relevance of insights used by senior leaders. The Finance Supervisor oversees and effectively communicate findings, trends, and recommendations, while fostering collaboration with various stakeholders within the UPS network.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of two finance specialists
- Research and interpret financial data, preparing comprehensive reports that help UPS management make informed business decisions
- Collaborate and communicate with various teams across regions and offices to ensure alignment and sharing of insights within the UPS network
- Collaborate with external advisors ensuring timely submission of statutory and tax reporting requirements
- Manage integration-related projects in F&A arena: GL platform switch, implementing UPS practices of managerial reporting, legal structure change
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or international equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field; an MBA is a plus
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or a related discipline
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong emphasis on Excel for data analysis and presentation purposes
- Team management experience
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks for oneself and the team
- Attention to detail and a proven ability to draw accurate conclusions from financial data
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a warm personality that fosters strong relationships with colleagues and clients
- Ability to thrive under pressure while meeting tight deadlines and managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Inquisitive nature with a strong desire for continuous learning and professional development
- Fluency in Dutch and English is required
