Data Science Intern
As a Data Science Intern, you'll tackle a key project to uncover the link between stock and sales. You’ll estimate missed sales due to out-of-stock items, and work on a proof of concept. With your knowledge of machine learning and Python, you'll take ownership of your project from start to finish.

Second, you’ll estimate missed sales due to out-of-stock items, helping to reveal potential demand. You’ll join the Commercial Planning Data Science Team, where you’ll get all the support needed to succeed. Your day-to-day will involve creating insights and building and testing a proof of concept. You will have discussions with colleagues to understand the context, brainstorm solutions, and share your findings.

- Advise the data science team on the best solution for this project.
- Apply your strong analytical thinking to unlock value for the company.
You recognize yourself in the following
- Doing your master’s in data science, econometrics, statistics or related.
- Experience with successfully applying machine learning techniques like regression, random forest, gradient boosting.
- Experience with Python, and ideally also with SQL and/or Big Query.
- Like to take responsibility for your project and guard the progress and quality yourself.
