As a Data Governance Intern at Bynder, you will play a vital role in supporting our data governance initiatives, ensuring the integrity, availability, and usability of our organizational data. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the development and implementation of data governance frameworks, while also honing your SQL skills for effective data management.

What you will do:
- Data Governance Alignment: Ensure alignment of data quality initiatives with established data governance policies and principles. Contribute to the development and enhancement of data governance frameworks.
- Data Cleansing and Enrichment: Work on data cleansing initiatives to rectify identified data quality issues. Assist in enriching datasets with relevant information to enhance overall data quality.
- Documentation and Reporting: Document data quality rules, standards, and procedures. Generate regular reports on data quality metrics and present findings to the team.
- Data Profiling and Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of existing data sets to identify inconsistencies, errors, and gaps. Collaborate with team members to understand data quality requirements and reduce gaps between teams.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data usage and requirements. Communicate effectively with team members to address data quality concerns and provide recommendations.
- You need to be enrolled in a Dutch university throughout the whole duration of the internship.
- You need to be based in The Netherlands already
- Good communication skills in English in verbal and written
- Academic background in Data, Computer Science or Business
- Work independently
- SQL
- Python
- Understanding of data structures
