As a Medior Accounts Payable Employee at Bertus, you will work in the finance department where you can apply your accounting knowledge within a friendly and close-knit team. Bertus started in 1971 as a record store and transitioned to wholesaling/distribution after a few years, continuing to grow. Now, more than 50 years later, Bertus has become an international key player in the distribution of vinyl and CDs. We collaborate with all major and minor labels across every genre (from Metal and EDM to Jazz and K-Pop). Additionally, we are very proud of our own labels: Music on Vinyl and Music On CD. Recently, by joining forces under the Artone holding with vinyl pressing plant Record Industry (and previously with label V2), an exceptional combination of companies has emerged, offering a complete and unique package of services; from creation to production, and from distribution to sales, a total solution for artists, labels, publishers, retailers, and consumers. As a Medior Accounts Payable Employee at Bertus, you will work in the finance department where you can apply your accounting knowledge within a friendly and close-knit team. Your department manages the financial administration for various creditors across more than 20 countries/companies. Furthermore, you will be responsible for:
- Daily retrieval of bank statements from various organizations and processing them administratively;
- Processing incoming invoices and ensuring accurate registration in the financial system;
- Reconciling invoices with purchase orders and deliveries;
- Maintaining contact with suppliers regarding invoice queries and payments;
- Processing bank statements;
- Managing weekly payments on behalf of the various companies;
- Supporting other financial tasks and projects;
- Coordination with financial accountants regarding your tasks.

Will you be our new Medior Accounts Payable Employee?
We are looking for someone who is confident, manages deadlines with ease, can independently process invoices, maintain contact, and report the financial administration based on accurate information to the management.
What we expect from you:
- Flexible working hours: You are available for 32 to 40 hours a week. Our working hours are from Monday to Friday, between 08:00 and 18:00, with flexible scheduling options.
- Technical experience: You have worked with Exact, Scansys, and Microsoft Dynamics, and have experience with the implementation and functional management of scanning tools.
- Independence: You take responsibility for incoming invoices and ensure they are processed correctly in good coordination with your colleagues.
- Accuracy: You understand the importance of working meticulously and ensure all invoices are collected and processed correctly.
