Boatboys Private Boat Tours offers exclusive, tailored boat experiences through the canals of Amsterdam. Our guests enjoy the city from a unique perspective, cruising on our stylish boats through the historic waterways. We are also closely associated with the Houseboat Museum Amsterdam, which showcases the fascinating history of life on the canals.
We are looking for a creative Content Creator to join our team, responsible for generating engaging content for both Boatboys and the Houseboat Museum Amsterdam, with a focus on social media platforms.
Key Responsibilities:

• Content Creation and Editing:
• Develop compelling content (text, photos, videos) for social media channels (Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook).
• Write and edit engaging captions, posts, and blog content to tell the story of Boatboys and the Houseboat Museum.
• Video and Reel Production:
• Create short-form videos and reels, particularly for Tik Tok and Instagram, to highlight our boat tours and museum offerings.
• Capture authentic moments on boat tours and at the museum to showcase unique experiences.
• Social Media Management:
• Plan, schedule, and manage content across platforms, ensuring a consistent brand voice and aesthetic.
• Monitor engagement and analytics to optimize content and boost audience interaction.
• Collaborate with Team:
• Work closely with the Boatboys team and museum staff to create content that aligns with both the brand identity and upcoming events or promotions.
• Stay up to date with social media trends and apply them creatively to our content.
• On-site Content Creation:
• Attend boat tours and museum events to capture live content, including behind-the-scenes footage, customer interactions, and event highlights.
• Assist in content creation for marketing campaigns, seasonal promotions, and special events.

Requirements:

• Experience in content creation, social media management, and video production.
• Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficiency with content creation tools and video editing software.
• Passion for storytelling, particularly in the tourism and culture sectors.
• Ability to work independently and creatively, with a proactive approach to content ideas.
• Writing content for various topics around the industry

Bonus Skills:

• Photography and videography experience.
• Understanding of SEO and social media algorithms.
• Fluency in Dutch is a plus.
