We are looking for an experienced Back-end Senior Laravel developer to join our team! As a Back-end Developer, you will be responsible for the server-side web application logic as well as for the integration of the front-end part.

Profil

What you will be doing
You will join our team as our Senior PHP Developer (Laravel) and your main responsibilities will be to:

• Write clean and maintainable back-end code (we always use the latest stable Laravel and PHP versions).

• Constantly increase test coverage

• Optimize infrastructure for better scalability (we use AWS, CDNs, Nginx, Redis for caching, Laravel Forge, Git Hub actions + Deployer for CI/CD).
• Improve our components and Design System in collaboration with our front-end team (we use Blade components, Web components and Vue.js for PWA).
• Review code from your colleagues (we love PR reviews as a great way to share knowledge and find optimal solutions for any challenge).
• Regularly ship your code (we usually deploy a few releases per week: zero downtime, just a few clicks).
• Assist with setting up and maintaining web hosting environments
• Provide oversight with planning and implementing PHP projects
• Participate in all phases of the development process, from project planning to design feedback to website implementation, QA and launch
• Post-launch, participate in ongoing site iterations, optimizations, troubleshooting and maintenance
• Be an active learner, looking for ways to improve and grow both yourself and the team.

Qualifications

• 3 to 6 (or more) years’ experience using PHP.
• Experience working with large data sets and database schemas
• Experience with Apache, NGINX, …
• Experience in an Agile development environment.
• Experience with My SQL or Postgre SQL and comfortable crafting SQL queries
• Experience creating and consuming RESTful APIs and writing API integrations
• Comfortable writing vanilla Java Script and working with Java Script frameworks (we love Vue.js & React Js)
• Comfortable with source control tools (we use git)
• Dedication to TDD
• Experience with cloud computing architectures
• Comfortable with dev-ops
• Experience with e-commerce, including Magento2 and Shopify – a big advantage
