Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of network hardware and software components.
- Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
- Help maintain security protocols, including firewalls, antivirus, and VPNs.
- Support the resolution of network issues and outages in a timely manner.
- Document network configurations and changes as needed.
- Collaborate with senior network administrators on larger projects.
- Assist with the setup and maintenance of local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and wireless networks.
- Up to 6 months of hands-on experience in network administration or a related role.
- Basic understanding of network technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Familiarity with networking hardware such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work in a team and follow guidance from senior administrators.
- Certification in Comp TIA Network+, CCNA, or similar is a plus but not required.
- A degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
