The Data Analyst would be the owner of the reporting, data models and in prod reports. S/he should be able to run analysis scenarios and be a source of callouts for different stakeholders.
Main responsibilities
- Data Collection and Cleaning: Collect and compile data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and completeness. Perform data cleaning and transformation as necessary to prepare it for analysis.
- Data Analysis: Assist in conducting data analysis using statistical methods, data visualization tools, and data analysis software. Summarize findings in clear and concise reports.
- Data Visualization: Create visually appealing and informative charts, graphs, and dashboards to present data insights to stakeholders. Use tools such Power BI, or Excel for visualization.
- Report Generation: Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports to communicate key metrics and findings to the team and management. Ensure reports are accurate and delivered on time.
- Data Quality Assurance: Help maintain data quality standards by identifying and resolving data discrepancies or inconsistencies. Collaborate with other team members to establish data quality protocols.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders, to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- Certification in Azure or Power BI is a plus
- 1-2 years of experience in similar position (including internship)
- Python & SQL proficiency
- Data Models proficiency
- Power BI proficiency
- Azure Data Factory knowledge
- Good Statistical knowledge
- Fluency in English (C1)
- High intercultural skills; strong interest to work in an international and decentral environment
- Strong communication skills throughout all hierarchy levels
- Proactive with high level of self-organization and self-motivation for delivering results/solutions
- Strong analytical capabilities with a holistic/strategic view
- Willingness to take quickly takeover responsibility for tasks
- Flexible, hands-on attitude and team player with drive for cooperation and collaboration
