Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Operator to accurately update and maintain information on our company databases and computer systems. The successful candidate will have strong data entry skills, including fast typing and attention to detail, as well as experience with spreadsheets and online forms. You will work closely with our data team and data manager. Previous experience in a data entry or similar role is advantageous. Responsibilities: Enter customer and account data by inputting text and numerical information from source documents within time limits. Compile, verify accuracy, and sort information to prepare data for computer entry. Review data for errors or deficiencies, correct any incompatibilities, and check the output. Research and obtain additional information for incomplete documents. Apply data program techniques and procedures. Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations, and perform backup operations. Scan documents and print files when necessary. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. Respond to information requests and access relevant files. Comply with data integrity and security policies. Ensure proper use of office equipment and address any malfunctions. Requirements: Proven experience as a Data Entry Operator or Office Clerk. Proficiency in MS Office and data entry programs. Familiarity with administrative tasks. Experience using office equipment, such as fax machines and scanners. High typing speed and accuracy. Excellent spelling, grammar, and punctuation skills. Strong attention to detail. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Good organizational skills and the ability to stay focused on tasks. High school diploma; additional computer training or certification is a plus.
